Review- L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Product Line

*I received these products complimentary of Influenster for testing/review purposes. However, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.*

I received the L'Oreal Ever Pure Moisture Collection in my Influenster VoxBox. I had heard of L'Oreal and tried some products of theirs, but never this line, so I was beyond happy to receive it. I received a full size bottle of their Shampoo, Conditioner, and the 10-in-ONE Elixir.

I immediately fell in love with brand and products. I color my hair every 6 weeks and try a variety of different colors/shades so my hair often gets damaged and dry really fast. This shampoo left my hair so soft and shiny. It gave body and bounce back to my hair. It also started to have the life that it used to have before all the coloring. The smell is amazing and lasts long after you have finished washing your hair. I also have an issue with knots and this shampoo helped eliminate those. It also did not fade my color at all.

The conditioner goes on velvety and your hair still feels velvety smooth even after you rinse out the conditioner. My hair just felt totally moisturized after using the shampoo and conditioner. A lot of shampoo/conditioners say that they put moisture back in your hair. I've tried many expensive brands claiming to do this, however was always disappointing. I've very happy to have found a brand that claims this and shows results of it.

The 10-in-ONE Elixir goes into hair as a leave in conditioner. While your hair is still damp apply it to your hair and then brush/comb your hair to really get it on all of your hair and ends. This does not leave your hair feeling greasy, gross, or weighed down like some leave in conditioners can do. This elixir soothes, nourishes, repairs, give body and bounce. It restores hair vitality in just one week. Its also a complete hair and scalp solution.

These products are also sulfate and paraben free. The only thing I would suggest as a family of mostly girls is that for the price I wish the bottles were a bit bigger. Other than that this products get a great rating from me and I will be using this line, as well as trying other products from this line, in the future.

Hidden By Kendra Elliot

About The Book:
Title: Hidden
Author: Kendra Elliot
# of Pages: 388 Pages
Series: Book 1 of the Bone Secrets Novel

My Review:

Lacey Campbell is a forensic odontoligst examining teeth and bones for the Medical Examiner. Going into a crime scene one day she did not realize the bones would be of her long time friend who was kidnapped by the Co-Ed Slayer. She herself barely escaped that night and is plagued with guilt and nightmares. When other killings start happening in the area, she realizes that it is someone close to the former Co-Ed Killer. However, she doesnt know who it could be she only knows that they are targeting her and all who put the original Co-Ed Slayer away. This book has you on your seat guessing who the new killer is and just when you think you know who it, a new spin comes in. I was hope all hours of the night reading this curious to see if my guess on the killer was correct or not and to see what was happening in the story line next.

Lacey started out as a shy scared women but throughout the book she turns into a brave and courageous woman that I grew to admire. I also love how she started to let her guard down when it came to jack. They made such a cute couple.

Jack is an ex cop. he is muscular in all the right places with amazing eyes. He starts off a little closed up as well just because he becomes linked to the Slayings due to being the boyfriend of one of the girls kidnapped and killed. Throughout the book is his guard comes down and he is a great man that any woman would appreciate having by her side. He fight to the death for Lacey as he also begins falling for her. The chemistry between the two characters can be felt from the very beginning. Its so genuine and real between Lacey and Jack.

This was a great book from the author and I will be reading the Second Book in her series which is: Chilled. I definitely recommend reading this book if you love a good thriller murder mystery. This book gets 5 stars from me!!

Love Repeated by Nancy Corrigan

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Young lovers, Kyle and Ronnie, had the world ahead of them at seventeen. Stubbornness, misunderstanding and a mother’s influence forced them to forge their own paths. A decade later, neither can find love.

Ronnie always thought it was easier to move on than deal with the pain and hurt of past mistakes. She made plenty of them, but so did Kyle and her parents. Kyle knows the moment he touches Ronnie that he still loves her. He won’t repeat the past and let her leave him a second time.

It takes a tragedy and a secret to reunite them, but their passion returns in a rush along with regret and guilt. To have love, they’ll have to overcome their issues—before her mother’s sin takes Ronnie away, once and for all.

~Excerpt~

She raised her gaze to his. The bruises on her face twisted his gut, but her hazel eyes mesmerized him, exactly as they had a lifetime ago. His words got stuck in his throat. Finally, she shook her head, breaking the spell she’d cast over him. “Ten minutes in town and I run into you. Talk about luck.”

“Good luck, I’d say.” He motioned toward the bruise on her cheek. “What happened?”

She folded her arms under her breasts and shifted her gaze to his chin. “Armed robbery.”

She lied. He could see it in her eyes. He stepped closer. “Don’t bother lying to me, Ronnie. I know you too well. What really happened?”

Her brows pinched. “I haven’t seen you in years, Kyle. You don’t know me anymore.”

He supposed she was right. He’d thought they’d spend their life together. She’d proved him wrong. Still, she drew him like no other woman ever had.

He brushed a finger over her bruised skin. “Come on, doll. Talk to me.”

She grinned. “I always loved that nickname, you know.”

He matched her smile, couldn’t help it. “And you’re changing the subject.”

“Armed robbery, like I said. I really don’t want to talk about it.” She snatched her purse from where it had fallen on the ground and pulled a hundred-dollar bill from her wallet. She held it out to him.

He glanced from it to her face. “If that’s for saving you, keep it. I don’t want your money. Never did.”

She rolled her eyes. “Please, Kyle. I didn’t come back to this shithole town to fight with you. I was wondering if you could go back into the bar and pay for my drink. I’d rather not go in there again.”

He worked his jaw and fought his irrational anger. It wasn’t her fault he’d reacted like a jerk, but he’d always hated the fact that she had more money. He took the cash and crumpled it in his hands. “Why did you?”

~About the Author~

A true romantic at heart, Nancy Corrigan is convinced there’s a knight in shining armor for every woman (or man), but you won’t find damsels in distress in her stories. She adores pairing alpha heroes with woman strong enough to match them and bring them to their knees. She also enjoys flipping the traditional roles in romances because her motto is—love and people should never be forced to conform to anyone’s norm.

She holds a degree in chemistry and has worked in research but now focuses on ensuring quality. She considers it the perfect outlet for her as she’s the first to admit she has some OCD tendencies. It carries over into her writing life too. While engrossed in a novel, she has a habit of forgetting to eat and sleep. Fortunately, she’s married to her own knight in shining armor who understands her oddities and loves her anyway. They reside in Pennsylvania with their three children, dog, snake and guinea pigs. Her other interests include tattoos, animals, classic cars and all things spooky and sexy.

~Excerpt~

“Maybe we should take off before my brother gets back and hide somewhere.” Rain said with mischief lighting up his eyes.

“I’d almost consider it if I thought we could lose him. Isn’t he one of the best trackers around?”

“Yes, but maybe he would get the message that we’d like to be alone.” Rain said as he put his arms around her leaning in to lightly move his lips across hers. Damn that felt heavenly. She moaned even though she tried to muffle it. His lips came back for more contact. This time he really kissed her not just with his lips but his tongue licked across her lips finding an opening. He slid in exploring her mouth until he found her tongue. Their tongues clashed struggling for supremacy until they heard a throat clearing. Dare was not her favorite person right then or Rain’s either by the look on his face.

~About the Author~

When she’s not out hunting rogue vampires and werewolves, you can find Crystal Dawn out exploring the galaxy. She can do it all without ever leaving her computer. She kicks ass, takes names, and puts it all down for the enjoyment of her readers. At least that’s what I think she told me. Writing came as a natural outlet for her overly creative mind. The start of her stories is the easy part. Finishing them is a little harder when all the stories are in there trying to get out. Other than writing, she loves reading, chocolate, fine sweet wine, and traveling among a large list of pursuits. Her favorite people, after her family and close friends, are her readers who she says are some of the most wonderful people in this galaxy and the next.

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Twenty-one year old Anna Blake has lived her life by one simple rule; never get attached. Having learned early on in life that nothing is guaranteed, she knows there is only one person she can truly rely on; herself.

But when she accepts a job as a dancer at one of the most secretive and exclusive clubs in the country, operating under the name Logan, she meets the one man who makes her question everything she thought she knew.

Bentley Reed is exactly the type of man women crave. Rich, powerful, and as sexy as they come; the definition of a playboy. A former soccer star turned business mogul, Bentley is used to getting what he wants, when he wants it.... but he has never met a girl like Logan before.

Their undeniable attraction is clear from their first encounter and neither can deny the sexual chemistry that flows between them. When Logan agrees to one night with Bentley, she has no idea that one night will alter her very existence.

Determined to walk away from a man insistent on not letting her go, Logan struggles to resist the temptation of what her body desires above all else.

What happens when two people who operate by the same rules, find themselves breaking them all for the chance to experience just one more night in each others arms?

~Excerpt~

As the song winds down, I turn my attention to the few people in front of me, for the first time acknowledging that there is even an audience in the room. My eyes quickly scan the faces and immediately land on a very attractive man leaning against the far wall, arms crossed in front of his chest.

I dart my gaze away from him the moment I realize that his eyes are locked firmly on my face. Something about the intensity of his stare makes it impossible not to look back in his direction again. The moment our eyes meet, a chill runs through my entire body. He's close enough that I can register the heat in his eyes and the beauty of his face, but far enough away that I doubt he can see the way my cheeks heat crimson under his glare.

He's tall, maybe six two, with a body that looks like he lives in the gym and a face that I swear belongs on every modeling magazine in the world. The man is perfection. My stomach twists tighter when he runs his hand through his messy short brown hair and lets out a slow exhale, his lips forming around his breath.
