~ Yes I do read books that are part of a series, for example I am currently in the middle of the Riley Jenson series by Keri Arthur and the Anita Blake series by Laurel K. Hamilton.• Do you read books that are part of a series?
• Do you collect all the books in the series before starting? What if the series is brand new, and the only book that’s been published so far is Book one? As subsequent books in the series are published, do you go back and re-read the preceding books?
~With these 2 series I didnt. I wanted to read the first book and make sure that it was something I would really enjoy before purchasing the others. Right now Im on book 15 of the Anita Blake Series and I have the rest of her books already ready for me to start after book 15 because I really love the author and her series. Well if it is a new series and only the first book has been published, I entertain myself with other books while waiting for the next book to be published and then as soon as it does get published, Im there getting it. Sometimes I do go back to re-read the books especially if its been a good length of time and I dont remember but the majority of the time I do remember what happened in a book.

ReplyDeleteHow are you liking the Anita Blake series? I loved the first few books but then she lost me.
My monday post is here .
@ Barklesswagmore,
ReplyDeleteI do like the Anita Blake Series. Im on #15 but I will admit at times I do get confused.
Nice answer :)
ReplyDeleteAnita Blake is pretty awesome!
Thanks for stopping by and following my blog. I am a new follower here. I have read a couple of series. My favorite was the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. I have the latest but haven't gotten to it yet. The second was a baking murder mystery series - made so much of an impression I forgot the name. I drug my way through almost the entire series with a friend until we couldn't take it anymore. Too predictable. Donna
ReplyDeleteIs this something you do each Monday?
