Review: Shadow of the Blood Moon Tour

Blurb for book 1: Ties to the Blood Moon
Genevieve is a teenage girl who moves in with her aunt in Alaska after the death of her mother. Soon after her arrival she learns the things she was raised to believe only existed in fairytales are in fact a big part of her history. When it gets to be too much she seeks refuge in the arms of her new boyfriend, William, only to find out he's not who she thought he was either.

This is a Young Adult paranormal urban fantasy romance with mild language and mild sexual situations recommended for readers in grade 9 and up.

My Review:  When Genevieve  moved to Alaska with her Aunt Bev after her house burned down and her her mother passed she  didnt expect for her life to change. She starts school and becomes friends with Luna, James, Joshua, and Joseph(all siblings and all Adlet wolves). She also meets William, whom she has an instant attraction to. When she finds out she is an Adlet princess, a form of large werewolf, and that she is being hunted by Zane and his Lycan clan she must travel to New Mexico to retrieve  the crest and take her place at the throne. Zane doesnt make this easy cause he wants the throne and wants her dead. We all know how that goes. Then she finds out her mom may be alive and that Zane is holding her as collateral for Genevieve  not to take the throne and lead her into a trap to kill her. She comes up with this great idea for William, who she finds out is a vampire, to turn her that way she has a chance at defeating Zane, who is a hybrid wolf and extremely strong. Well of course we know nothing goes as planned cause she turns into a Rafe. A hybrid, part Adlet wolf and part vampire. Something that is a threat to the Almaric which she soon finds out.  Lies, betrayal, love, lust, action, and throw in a love triangle and you have one incredible book. Very fast paced and has you wanting more. I was not able to put this book down and read it in days. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this book.

Shadow of the Blood Moon Book Blurb:
Genevieve Labreck is back with a score to settle. Her mom has been kidnapped by Zane, hybrid and all-around monster.  Rumors fly that Gen’s mom is holed away in Prague, a city recognized by humans for its serene beauty and intense culture, but Gen and Will know something humans don’t. Prague is haunted by dark, evil forces.
Can Gen and Will save her mom, or will they be too late?
Some will live, others will fall. At what price do you walk away from those you love?

My Review: This book starts off with Genevieve and William traveling to the country of Prague continuing their search for Zane and her mother. Genevieve has become extremely strong and has attracted the attention of elder of the Alamric Laszlo. When Laszlo finds out she is indeed a Rafe he deems her to much of a threat and wants her dead. Now Genevieve , Luna, Joseph, and William have to fight their way out of Prague alive only to find out William will not be returning with them as he is going to try to take on Laszlo himself....typical macho man trying to save everything. I really loved how the relationship and love with William and Genevieve blossom in this book. There love for each other shows clearly even through bumps in the road. However Joseph and her also have a special bond( you will have to read to find out) and their relationship is blossoming as well. Now both men are jealous and fighting for her. She goes back and forth fighting with herself deciding who she wants to spend the rest of her life with. When they finally track Zane and her mom its very tragic and emotional. Gen had me really feeling what she felt and I felt the loss and the sadness with her. But even with the tragedy something good comes out as Gen finds out she has a twin sister she never knew about who is also an Adlet wolf. Laszlo is starting a war that would ruin the Adlet wolves as well as humans and Gen and her clan along with her Adlet warriors must travel back to Prague to end the war and end Laszlo before he destroys everything and to save William who Laszlo has kidnapped. Honestly with this book I have nothing negative to say either. This series held my attention and sucked me in from the very beginning. I loved this series and I cant wait and really hope for book #3 in the series. There are lots of twists and surprises in this book but cant say much without spoiling so you must read it.
