Author Bio:

Elley Arden is a born and bred Pennsylvanian who has lived as far west as Utah and as far north as Wisconsin. She drinks wine like it’s water (a slight exaggeration), prefers a night at the ballpark to a night on the town, and believes almond English toffee is the key to happiness.
Elley has been reading romance novels since she was a sixteen-year-old babysitter, sneaking Judith McNaught and Danielle Steele novels off the bookshelves of the women who employed her. She started her first manuscript when she was twenty-five, writing during babies’ naps. A total of three children and ten years later, she thought the manuscript was complete. Little did she know, her journey to publication was only beginning…
Elley writes provocative, emotional contemporary romances for Crimson Romance.

 QUOTE SET
“Let me get this straight. You have a thing for Plain Old Justin, but not Congressman Mitchell?” Against his better judgment, he trudged toward her.
She backed up. “I don’t have a thing for any part of you.” She flinched, and he didn’t think it had anything to do with her squinting into the sun.

My Review:

This book was amazing. I don't read a lot of contemporary romance but this book is making me want to read more of this genre. This book sucked me in from the very beginning and had me itching to have a free moment so that I could read more and find out what was going to happen between Alice and Justin.

The story line is very believable and I could definitely see two childhood friends having feelings for each other but leading different lives and oppressing their feelings. Justin being a congressman cant be seen with Alice so he is about to marry another woman(not for love) so that Harmony Falls can become more powerful. Alice however doesn't want to see this happen so when she finds out a huge secret about this woman he is about to marry she stops the wedding!

The characters are very well written and you end up feeling everything that they feel. The characters are so well written that it actually felt like I knew them and was voting the whole way through for their success. This story is very unique because this could happen to someone in real life and there are elements throughout the story that has you wondering if this or that is gonna happen. It has lots of shocks, twist and turns.

The grammar of this book was very well also. I was able to understand everything that was going on without being lost at all through the book.

The ARC to this story was very well done. It had the beginning explaining past history between Justin and Alice, had a great climax with twists and turns that had you rooting for Justin and Alice, and the ending was amazing! This book flowed very well. The ending was my all time favorite and I was very happy with the ending. All conflicts through this book were tied up very nicely and explained well.

This is definitely an AMAZING book that I recommend to all! This book gets 5 stars from me! Im also interested to read more books from this author
