My Review:
Disclosure: I received this product for free in exchange for a review. However, I only recommend products that I personally like and use to my readers. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own and unbiased thoughts and opinions. They may differ from yours.

Lets start off with the shipping. Blue Apron has fast shipping. I get the confirmation on Monday that it has shipped and my box is here Thursday morning. You can pick the date that you want your box to ship and come. I chose Thursday and every Thursday (if I don't skip a week) my box arrives. The box comes nice and neat with no damage to it. The box is refrigerated and cold when I receive it. All ingredients are still cold and fresh when I unpack it to put it away.

The box is nice and organized. The meat products are kept away from all the other products. Everything is bagged tightly and it is all labeled. I love that I don't have to guess what the ingredients are. I also love that when the box arrives there are no leaks and nothing is spilled due to the great packing of ingredients.

Each meal has a recipe card that has easy to read and follow directions. It has step by step pictures as well. It lists all ingredients so you know what is needed for that recipe card. Due to everything being labeled it is easy to match the ingredients to the recipe card. All the recipes were easy to prepare and also only took 40 minutes or less to prepare. My kids also had fun helping me prepare and cook these meals. My oldest has taken a cooking class in 3rd grade and this was a great refresher for her on following directions and preparing meals. My youngest loved feeling special and part of the group helping out with preparing these meals. They really were proud to show off the meal to their dad when he came home from work. This is a great subscription for families who are busy and on the go. Great for families and people who travel a lot. You can also skip weeks for those traveling or if you are going to be on vacation.

So are there any downfalls to this subscription? For me there is, however there are not many. The first one is that there is no way to cancel your subscription. So if you decide you no longer want to be part of Blue Apron there is no easy way to just cancel through the site on your own. My guess is you will have to call or write to the company.

The second downfall is to skip a week so that you do not get charged and no delivery comes you have to skip each individual week. When you log in and go to the delivery schedule it will show you a few upcoming weeks and you skip them individually. You then have to remember to go back in the website a few weeks after that to skip the rest of the upcoming weeks that show up as the weeks go on. I am a member of a few subscriptions and they have it to where you just skip the entire month each month. That is super easy and easier for me to remember. I wish Blue Apron would change it to skip the entire month instead of each individual week.

Other than those two downfalls I was very pleased with Blue Apron and will order from them again in the near future.

Check out the recipes that we received and prepared:

Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sliders
These are great for lunch, dinner, or picnic trips. Easy to prepare and cook and delicious!

As you can see on the picture above the ingredients are all listed and pictures shown so there is no double guessing what is what.
Picture above shows the step by step pictures and easy to follow directions.
Everything is packed nicely and labeled.

My kiddos love pickles and cucumbers. There fave out of this meal were the homemade pickles.

The second meal was Grilled Steak Tacos. This is a cool new twist to having tacos for dinner. My family really enjoyed these and we also got to try new stuff that we normally would not purchase or eat.

Every box comes organized and labeled like in my pictures making life for this mama so much easier!

    1. Hi Evelyn,

I am not sure on the allergy friendly items. I do know that there is a questionnaire that you feel out when you first sign up.

  4. Looks like delicious meals! I will have to look into them more. Are you able to withdraw items. I am a very picky eater and probably would want certain ingredients eliminated.
