And now for the Guest Post:
I wanted to say thanks to all the fans of my books. I love your messages and hearing how much you got into my stories.

I’ve written since I was a child. I guess growing up without many friends you use your imagination a lot.

Though all of my books have a Paranormal Romance theme I base them in life and human emotions. The challenges we go through in life shape us and direct how we interact with others. I always put a loyal non-shakable bond between my main characters. Loyalty is important to me. True friendship and family are important to me. My personality is reflected in everything I write.

The first book I published (Legion of Bats) takes place where I grew up in West Virginia. It’s a tiny town and everyone knows everyone. I wanted to reflect that in the story. Sometimes it’s a bad thing, as in nosey people, and other times it creates community. Weston State Hospital was a thirty-minute drive from Tanner WV. Now it’s called the Trans Allegany Lunatic Asylum. They give haunted tours, which are awesome by the way. I have to say that is one of the creepiest places I have ever been. If you have a chance to go you should. It will give you a chance to see the places I describe in the book and give you a scare before you go.

I got the idea for Broken Butterflies by watching a Lunesta commercial. That glowing neon butterfly floating by the screen inspired the entire story. Those that have read it will understand the connection. After seeing the commercial that night I had a dream that angels could convert themselves into butterflies. If I was going to dive into angels then there had to be a guardian angel who falls in love with the one he protects. Can I have that guy? But beware the ultimate guy isn’t always beyond betrayal.

The third book I published, The 13th, came from my love of all things creepy and witchy. Who doesn’t love a good witchcraft story? I wanted the town to be old and alive with history, which is ideal for tourists. The people that travel in to see Strega Bluff are unaware that it’s actually inhabited by witches and warlocks. They think it’s a awesome gimmick. I believe that magic can exist anywhere at anytime. We can make anything happen if we just put our minds to it. Of course the characters will use magic and spells to save the town. Some of this magic has been passed down through generations of family, while other spells are concocted and new. Tradition never dies in Stega Bluff.

Thanks to all of you for the love of my stories. Keep writing me and I will always respond.
